The Complete Room-by-Room House Cleaning Checklist

• Wipe stovetop

• Vacuum and mop floors
• Empty trash

2. Bathrooms

• Clean and disinfect toilet, shower, bathtub, and sink
• Clean countertops
• Polish mirrors and fixtures
• Wipe cabinet fronts
• Wipe light switches and door handles
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Empty trash

3. Bedrooms & Living Areas

• Dust all reachable surfaces
• Dust furniture and décor
• Make beds
• Clean mirrors
• Wipe light switches and door handles
• Clean window sills
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Mop hard floors
• Empty trash

4. Throughout the Home

• Remove cobwebs
• Dust ceiling fans (reachable)
• Dust vents (reachable)
• Wipe stair rails and banisters
• Tidy up and put things back in place
• Final inspection
